The Palazzo dello Spagnolo or dello Spagnuolo is a monumental palace in Naples, located in via Vergini in the Sanità district, in the historic city center. The Palazzo dello Spaniard was built in 1738 on commission from the Marquis of Poppano Nicola Moscati, unifying two lots received from his wife.
The project, including the construction of the monumental double-flight staircase, defined as "falcon wings", which was conceived as a sort of meeting place, where a real social life took place, was thus entrusted to Ferdinando Sanfelice, while Francesco Attanasio was asked for the rococo style stucco works which were designed by him, but executed by Aniello Prezioso.
