The New Town Hall (German: Neues Rathaus) is the municipal building of Munich. Built in the 19th century, in neo-Gothic style based on a project by the Austro-German architect Georg von Hauberrisser, this building is located in Marienplatz, the main city square, and is characterized by a clock tower which contains the largest carillon in Germany and a of the greatest in the world, the Glockenspiel.
