VDNKh stands for Vystavka Dostizheniy Narodnogo Khozyaystva, is a trade fair and amusement park, in Moscow. The project for the construction of this building started in 1935 and it housed the "All Soviet Union Agricultural Exhibition", but later it was called the "Exhibition of Achievements of the National Economy". To date, the VDNKh area occupies approximately 2375,000 square meters, and houses 400 buildings including fountains, an amusement park, the Museum of Cosmonautics and a marine biology centre.
