Saint Basil's Cathedral

Cathedral Moscow, Russia

An unparalleled Basil Saint Basil's Cathedral

St. Basil's Cathedral is a Russian Orthodox cathedral built near Red Square by order of Ivan IV of Russia. This sacred place was built between 1555 and 1561, and initially had 8 side churches built around the 9th; only 20 years later the tenth church was added. The cathedral was created thinking of a bonfire whose flames rise to the sky.
