A former royal estate on the banks of the Moskva River. Kolomenskoe

Kolomenskoe is an ancient village located southeast of the city of Moscow. This place was first mentioned in 1339 in the will of Prince Ivan Kalita, but became more famous thanks to the Ascension Church built to celebrate the birth of the future Tsar Ivan IV. Tourists love to go to this place especially to visit its orthodox churches, and immerse themselves in nature.
