The Garage Museum is a well-known contemporary art museum. Founded in 2008 as a non-profit project by Dasha Zhukova who gave this place the same name as Garage Magazine, which she founded. In 2015 the museum moved to its current building, and contains private collections of Zhukova herself and Roman Abramovich. The main purpose of this place is to reflect current developments in Russian and international culture and to create opportunities for dialogue in Moscow.
