La Ceramica Parallela

Temporary installation Milan, Italy

La Ceramica Parallela

During the Design Week, the ISIA Faenza Design & Comunicazione inaugurates the exhibition La Ceramica Parallela in the spaces of the Galleria Fatto ad Arte, curated by the artist Salvatore Arancio and by Marinella Paderni, director of the Istituto Superiore per le Industrie Faistica.

The title of the exhibition is inspired by The parallel botany, a 1976 book conceived by the painter, writer, and illustrator Leo Lionni as a treatise on a non-existent science, a journey into the imaginary, which exposed a material entirely invented in the form of a plausible scientific manual. A fantastic landscape, composed of organic forms that seem to come from a botanical treatise, but which instead are the result of the imagination of ISIA students Faenza.
