Milan Cathedral is the cathedral church of Milan dedicated to St Mary of the Nativity and it's the seat of the Archbishop of Milan. This massive church took nearly six centuries to complete; it's the largest church in Italy (the larger St. Peter's Basilica is in the State of Vatican City) and the third largest in the world. The Duomo, symbol of an ancient culture, is displaying the energy drawn heavily from its territory in over 500 years. A treasure to be discovered, its history lives in its marble and through the work of the Fabbrica, which steadily takes care of it from 1387.
