The Menara gardens are a cluster of gardens built in the 12th century. The pavilion is surrounded by an artificial lake, the purpose of which was to irrigate the surrounding gardens and orchards with a sophisticated system of underground channels called qanats. It is a very quiet place, loved by tourists, away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
