Nosy Tanikely is a small island located in the Mozambique channel, off the northwest coast of Madagascar, about 6 miles south of Nosy Be. Whilst in the water you will see all sorts of healthy and colorful coral, with a vast number of reef fish. In 2011, the island and the surrounding waters, previously classified as a marine protected area, were declared a marine national park.
While on the island you can travel by foot along the beaches and on the trails that lead up to the lighthouse. The only other option is to travel by boat - a circumnavigation of the island takes 15-20 minutes and passes through incredible blue waters and past beautiful beaches.
