The Manambolo is a river flowing in western Madagascar. It has its source in the central highlands, about 130 km from the capital Antananarivo. This river has a deep red-orange color due to some eroded sediments, and it descends through a largely deforested landscape as it makes its way to the Mozambique Channel. The excursions on this river, immersed in uncontaminated nature, are very suggestive.
