The Tate Modern is a museum that is part of the Tate complex in the United Kingdom; the other museums in the system are Tate Britain, Tate Liverpool and Tate St Ives. It is located in London, in the Bankside area, and is housed in a former power station.
In fact, the Tate offers a collection of works strongly representative of the most significant artistic trends of the last two centuries and their protagonists, such as Salvator Dali. Very suggestive are the temporary exhibitions, for a fee, which are held in the turbine hall and the shape of the new pavilion which is part of the Tate Modern complex.
