The wedge-shaped tower, nicknamed "the cheesegrater", is one of the tallest buildings on the Square Mile, at 224.5 meters and 48 floors. Its particular shape was designed by Richard Rogers to preserve the view of St Paul's Cathedral.
Particularly from Fleet Street, the tower's design ensures that the view of St Paul's Dome is framed by the blue sky. Started in 2011 and completed in 2014, it stands opposite the other building designed by Rogers, the Lloyd's of London building.
