Villa Monastero

House Museum Lake of como, Italy

Villa Monastero is a villa located in Varenna in the Province of Lecco and located on the shores of Lake Como. The villa houses a botanical garden, a house museum and is a convention centre. Among the conferences organized at Villa Monastero is the "Enrico Fermi" International School of Physics, organized by the Italian Physics Society since 1953. The school has hosted speeches by over thirty-four Nobel Prize winners.
