The Church of the Holy Sepulcher is called the Church in the Old City of Jerusalem, which is located on the site of the crucifixion and tomb of Jesus. The Church of the Holy Sepulcher is one of the largest shrines in Christianity. Holy Sepulcher is the common name in the Western Church. In the Eastern Church or Orthodox Christians, the building is called the Church of the Resurrection. The church is the seat of the Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Jerusalem and the Catholic archpriest of the Basilica of the Holy Sepulchre. The "Holy Sepulchre" inside the church has been rebuilt on various occasions (see Replicas of the Holy Sepulchre).
