Falmouth is the county seat and the capital of Trelawny Parish in Jamaica. It is located on the north coast of Jamaica, 18 miles east of Montego Bay. The city was founded by Thomas Reid in 1769. The places of interest of this seaside town are: the Albert George shopping and historical center, dating back to 1895; the former residence of slave owner John Tharp; and St. Peter's Anglican Church, built in 1795.
