Hong Kong Disneyland is a theme park located on reclaimed land in Penny's Bay on Lantau Island. Hong Kong Disneyland opened to visitors on Monday 12 September 2005. To avoid cultural backlash issues, Disney incorporated Chinese culture, customs and traditions when designing and building the resort.
The park consists of seven themed areas: Main Street, USA, Fantasyland, Adventureland, Tomorrowland, Grizzly Gulch, Mystic Point and Toy Story Land. Disneyland park has a daily visitor capacity of 34,000, the lowest of all Disneyland parks.
