Stockmann plc is a Finnish listed company engaged in the retail trade. The Group has three commercial divisions: Lindex, Stockmann Retail and Real Estate. Stockmann was founded in 1862 and celebrated its 150th anniversary in 2012. Stockmann has 8 department stores and 425 fashion stores in 17 countries. The flagship store in central Helsinki covers 50,000 square meters (540,000 sq ft) of retail space and welcomes over 17 million visitors each year. It is the largest department store in the Nordic countries.
