Linnanmäki is Finland's oldest and most famous amusement park, located in the Alppila district of Helsinki. The amusement park, owned by the Children's Day Foundation, opened to the public in 1950. Linnanmäki has over 40 rides, many different games, as well as restaurants and cafes. The most popular ride in the amusement park is the wooden roller coaster, which has been delighting visitors since 1951. The Children's Day Foundation maintains and develops the Linnanmäki amusement park in order to raise funds for Finnish child welfare work. The donation goal for 2018 is to reach 4.5 million euros. While our visitors enjoy Linnanmäki Amusement Park, they also support Finnish child welfare work.
