Helsinki City Hall is a central administrative building in Helsinki, Finland. The Town Hall is located in the Kruununhaka neighborhood overlooking the Market Square at Pohjoisesplanadi 11-13. The Town Hall is the seat of the Helsinki City Council. Completed in 1833, the building originally served as the Hotel Seurahuone and was an important cultural facility hosting many premieres. The Town Hall houses the offices of the Mayor of Helsinki and the Deputy Mayors, as well as the meeting facilities of the city council and city council. The City Council meets on alternate Wednesdays in the Council Chamber.
