The Miniatur Wunderland is the largest H0 scale model (with trains, ships and planes) in the world. Located in the central part of Hamburg, in the Speicherstadt area, it is an attraction that welcomes hundreds of thousands of visitors every year. It is composed of realistic reconstructions of some suggestive corners of Europe and other places of the world.
Constantly evolving, built in modules, it houses an H0 scale miniature railway, with a reconstruction of Scandinavian landscapes with real water and remote-controlled ships, a representation of the Grand Canyon and the Rocky Mountains in the USA, a reconstruction of Alpine landscapes and Switzerland , a fictitious city called Knuffingen, a reconstruction of some Italian cities, as well as a reconstruction of the city of Hamburg and some places in Germany.
