The heart of the city Jungfernstieg

The Jungfernstieg ("ascent of the spinsters") is a famous street in the German city of Hamburg, located along the Binnenalster and known above all as a "fashionable" street and shopping street. It is the first paved road in the history of Germany (the year was 1838). The street is also famous for being the place where the Danish king Frederick VIII died in 1912.
