The Hamburg City Hall (German: Hamburger Rathaus) is a building in the center of the German city of Hamburg, built in the neo-Renaissance style between 1886 and 1897 to a design by a group of architects led by Martin Haller. It is the seat of the state government or "Hamburg Senate" and the Hamburg Parliament and is located on the Rathausmarkt ("Town Hall Square"). It is the sixth building to be used as a town hall in the city. The building welcomes an average of 100,000 visitors a year
The Neues Rathaus is famous for its beautiful carillon, which mesmerizes crowds of tourists three times a day with its melodies and animated figurines. It's a delightful show, with a romantic and vintage taste, but also entertaining.
