The city of children and young people of Genoa is a large structure dedicated to play, science and technology, for children aged 2 to 12, open to families, groups and schools. It extends over three thousand square meters, designed and built "for children". Two large spaces respectively for 3-5 year olds and 6-12 year olds, an area dedicated to 2-3 year olds; over 90 multimedia exhibits allow you to make "small and large" discoveries useful for satisfying your desire to know and for approaching science and technology in a fun way. In the city of children and teenagers, play becomes an educational and scientific dissemination tool. Knowledge and learning are stimulated through manipulation, error and doubt, in the certainty that direct experience is the best way to acquire knowledge. Every weekend, the city of children and teenagers offers its young audience special scientific animations on topics that are always up-to-date, instructive and entertaining. The animations are designed to stimulate the critical sense and to encourage the formulation of hypotheses that explain the reason for the observed phenomena.
