Parco delle Cascine, also more commonly known as Le Cascine, is the largest public park in Florence (160 hectares); it has the form of a flat strip of land almost 3.5 kilometers long and no more than 640 meters wide, which runs along the right bank of the Arno, from the historic center, up to the confluence of the river with the Mugnone torrent. Home to events and festivals, the park is the ideal place to relax and stroll in the greenery.
