For the broken-hearted Zagreb Museum of Broken Relationships

The Museum of Broken Relationships is a sociological museum located in Zagreb, the capital of Croatia, dedicated to ended love stories. The museum was founded by Olinka Vištica and Dražen Grubišić, both from Zagreb. At the end of their love story, the two Croatian artists joke about setting up a museum to house their personal belongings left behind, and after about 3 years this idea materialized. The museum houses various material finds, but also a virtual part where visitors can leave their testimonies. In 2011, the initiative received the Kenneth Hudson Award for the most innovative museum in Europe.
