The Sea Organ, a modern icon that has become a symbol of the city of Zadar, is an architectural miracle created in the submerged part of the city shore, where the sea waves, breaking and flowing through the pipes installed underwater, produce an incredible sound ( called precisely "music of the sea") which spreads throughout the wide space of the shore. Another curiosity of the city, also the work of the same Zadar architect Nikola Bašić is the Greeting to the Sun. It is an installation made with three hundred multilayer glass plates, placed at the same level as the pavement of the shore. Circular in shape, with a diameter of 22 meters, the Greeting to the Sun was conceived as an artistic spatial installation in the shape of an amphitheater around which, arranged on blocks of stone, all the planets of the solar system revolve, each drawing its own orbit.
