Miljet National Park is located on the island of Mijet, Croatia. Every year the park is visited by about 100,000 people, who are amazed by the pristine vegetation and the 2 salt lakes. Mijet was proclaimed a national park in 1960, and represents one of the first efforts of the institutions to protect the delicate ecosystem of the Adriatic Sea. Among the activities offered by the park, there are: cycling, swimming or diving in the two lakes, or renting canoes or kayaks.
