This fountain is an interactive work of art, designed by the Catalan artist Jaume Plensa in 2004. The fountain consists of a black granite pool with a few centimeters of water, and two glass towers about 50 meters high, which work using LED lights. This piece of art is a public playground and offers people an escape from the summer heat by allowing children to play in the water from the fountain.
