Buckingham Fountain is located in downtown Grant Park in Chicago, and is considered the gateway to the city. Its inauguration dates back to August 26, 1927, when Kate Buckingham donated it in memory of her brother. Built in the Rococo style, the fountain operates from April to October with regular water shows and evening color shows.
