Museum located in the center of a large park on the shores of Lake Michigan. Opened in 1893, it is considered the second most important museum in the United States, containing not only works from the nineteenth century but also classical and contemporary art. A new, more modern area of the museum has recently been inaugurated, thanks to the contribution of the famous architect Renzo Piano.
