Château de Montrèsor

Castle Châteaux of the Loire Valley, France

Built in 1005 by Folques Nerra, the mighty fortress of Montrésor dominates the suggestive Indrois valley unchallenged. The surrounding walls date back to 1493; since the acquisition of the Castle by the Polish Branick, it has kept its interiors unchanged, from the decorations, to the paintings, to the furniture, constituting an authentic testimony of the past.
