Chaumomont-sur-Loire Castle has the appearance of a severe medieval fortress, which can only be accessed via a drawbridge placed between two majestic towers. Inside we can find the rooms that once belonged to Caterina de' Medici and Diane de Poitiers, as well as a splendid collection of tapestries, the Council Chamber and the Library. But its rough appearance is supplanted by the 26 beautiful gardens that surround it, which have earned the title of "jardin remarcable" (garden of great interest) from the Ministry of Culture.
