Via Krupp

Via Krupp was born at the behest of Friedrich Alfred Krupp. The owner of the large German steelworks was passionate about marine biological research, and loved to go to Capri with his yacht which moored in the Bay of Marina Piccola. To easily reach the boat from the suites of the Grand Hotel Quisisana had this splendid panoramic road built into the rocky ridge dominated by the Gardens of Augustus.
