The Victoria & Alfred Waterfront is the historic heart of Cape Town's harbor in South Africa and is one of the most visited places in the city and in the entire country. Situated between Robben Island and Table Mountain and with a mountain and sea backdrop, it offers a variety of shopping and leisure options interspersed with office buildings, Somerset Hospital and hotels such as the historic Breakwater Lodge and former prison. It houses the Nelson Mandela Gateway which offers boat trips to Robben Island, but also the Two Oceans Aquarium and the Chavonnes Battery museum.
