Table Mountain National Park is a protected natural area established in 1998 which is located in South Africa in the Western Cape province. The area preserves a remarkable biodiversity in relation to the endemic flora, called fynbos, and for the class of insects. The park with 1,372,000 visitors (2002 data) and together with the Kruger National Park is the most visited park in South Africa. Table Mountain Park is located within the Cape Floristic Region.
