Greenmarket Square

The name of this square comes from the vegetable market that was set up here in the eighteenth century. Today, the place is animated by merchants of various objects, where you can buy handicrafts and some souvenirs. Among the magnificent buildings with Art Deco and Art Nouveau facades that grace the square, the Old Town House houses the Michaelis collection.
