They were built in the 16th century during the Ottoman occupation and their appearance is very similar to what can be found in Istanbul. The Rudas Baths were built in 3 different moments: they were inaugurated in 1550, they were enlarged in 1566 by the Ottoman pascià Mustafa Sokoli, and they were modernized in 1896, when the swimming pool and the sauna were added. The last renovation works took place in the 21st century, reopening its doors at the beginning of 2006.
