The Parliament Building is the seat of the Hungarian Parliament in Budapest. The 268 meter long building, located directly on the banks of the Danube, is one of the symbols of Budapest. The model was the Palace of Westminster, the seat of the British Parliament in London. The architect of the neo-Gothic style building was Imre Steindl. The construction period was from 1885 to 1904.
