The nerve center of the urban transport network, very practical for tourists, this square bears the name of Count Lajos Batthyány, head of the first Hungarian government in 1848. On this square is the church of Sant'Anna and, next to it, the café Angelika. At No. 3, near the covered market of the nineteenth century, is the Locanda della Croce Bianca, where dramas were played. It is said that Casanova also passed there.
