The Palazzo della Mercanzia in Bologna, also known as the Loggia dei Mercanti or Palazzo del Carrobbio, overlooks the square of the same name. From the end of the 14th century to the end of the 18th it was the seat of the Universitas mercatorum (Forum of Merchants) and of some Corporations. Starting from 1797, with the French occupation, it became the seat of the Chamber of Commerce.
