Topographie des Terrors or, in Italian, Topography of Terror, is a project born in Berlin in 1987 to document and research the system of terror established by the National Socialists in Germany and, following the war, also in gradually occupied countries, in the period runs from 1933 to 1945 (end of World War II).
Also part of the project is a permanent, temporarily open-air exhibition of photographs and documents located in the area of the former Prinz-Albrecht-Straße 8, now renamed Niederkirchnerstraße 8 in the Kreuzberg district.
