The Jatiluwih Rice Terraces are located in central Bali near the Ganung Batukaru. This area is very rural, with nothing but farming communities and a few mountain resorts. To preserve this area, the Government no longer allows the development of hotels and cities, unless they are structures with a commitment to environmental conservation For visitors it is possible to visit the 300 hectares on foot, or alternatively with an e-bike tour that local villagers have been organizing since 2017.
