In the rooms on the main floor of Palazzo Vallemani - a splendid Baroque residence with vaults frescoed at the beginning of the seventeenth century by Umbrian and Tuscan painters - the Municipal Art Gallery of Assisi is exhibited, which includes a conspicuous group of medieval and Renaissance frescoes from civil buildings and religious from Assisi and its surroundings, and some paintings on wood and canvas from the 14th-17th centuries.
