The oratory of San Francesco Piccolino is a religious building in the center of Assisi, near the Chiesa Nuova. It was built starting from the 13th century thanks to the initiative of Piccardo, the saint's nephew, in the place where it is said that Donna Pica gave birth to Saint Francis of Assisi. Adorned with frescoes painted over a period of time dating from the 13th to the 15th century, it was restored to its original features in 1926.
