In the halls of the Bishop's palace, there is a new and interesting mauseal experience concerning the Second World War. A museum dedicated to the memory of the 300 Jews saved from extermination in the war thanks to the hospitality of Assisi. A collection made up of numerous unpublished documents, photos and texts relating to the period of the Shoah with a central focus on the role assumed by the citizens and personalities of Assisi during the war.
